WRSA engineers provided civil engineering design services for a new science and technology building at the University of Hawaii Hilo campus.

The improvements included the demolition of existing structures, reconstruction of an existing parking lot, site grading, sewer, water, fire protection and gas services, and drainage, including drywells and downspout connections, to support the new building.

Our services also included the design of a new off-site parking lot to replace displaced parking spaces, ADA compliance, Grading and NPDES Permits for both the building and off-site parking areas, and incorporation of design elements to meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Silver Certification.
