WRSA engineers provided design services for playgrounds and playground equipment at several elementary schools in the Hilo Union School District.

The projects included grading and drainage design, playground surface design, selection of design configurations of playground equipment, design of walkways for access to the playground areas, and design of fencing surrounding the playground areas.

The projects met ADA requirements and were in accordance with the U.S. Consumer Project Safety Commission and American Society of Testing and Materials for playground equipment.
